দোয়া কবুলের গল্প.........The story of accepting prayers

শাইখ ইউনুস কাথরাদা হাফিযাহুল্লাহ এর কাছে এক বোনের বিস্ময়কর ঘটনার বর্ণনা!

এক বোন আমাকে তাঁর হাজ্জের সময়ে দেখা একটি ঘটনার বর্ণনা করেছেন –

.

“৮ই জুলহিজ্জায় আমরা মীনার ক্যাম্পে পৌঁছালাম। ১৭ বছর বয়সের এক বোন আমাদের সাথে ছিলেন। যদিও মাত্র ১৭ বছর বয়সী তিনি, কিন্তু ওয়াল্লাহি, আমি তাঁকে অসাধারণ কিছু ‘আমল করতে দেখেছি। আমি তাঁকে আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) এঁর সামনে বিনয়, সমর্পণ ও কান্নারত অবস্থায় দেখতাম। তিনি সারাদিন আল্লাহর যিকির, কুরআন তিলাওয়াত, বিনয়ের সাথে আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করায় ব্যস্ত ছিলেন। সেই তরুণী কোনো দুনিয়ারী আলোচনায় সময় নষ্ট করেন নি, বরং সারাক্ষণ আল্লাহর ইবাদতে একান্তে নিমগ্ন ছিলেন।

পরের দিন ছিল ৯ই জুলহিজ্জা; আরাফাহর দিন। আমরা আরাফাহতে আমাদের ক্যাম্পে পৌঁছালাম। আরাফাহতে পৌঁছানোর পরেই আমরা সবাই ক্যাম্পের ভেতর নিজেদের জন্য একটি আরামদায়ক জায়গা খুঁজছিলাম – শুধু ১৭ বছরের সেই বোন ছাড়া। আমরা যখন শারিরীক আরামের জন্য জায়গা খুঁজছি, সেই বোন তখন হৃদয়ের প্রশান্তির জন্য জায়গা খুঁজে ফিরছিলেন। বোনটি এমন জায়গা খুঁজে বেড়াচ্ছিলেন, যেখানে তিনি তাঁর রাব্বের সাথে কোনো ঝামেলা ছাড়া নিবিষ্টমনে সময় পার করতে পারবেন। এমন এক জায়গা তিনি খুঁজছিলেন, যেখানে তিনি তাঁর মহিমাময় রাব্বের সাথে একাকী সময় ব্যয় করতে পারবেন।

মহান আল্লাহর কসম, সেই বোন জোহরের সালাতের পর থেকে আরাফাহর ময়দান ত্যাগে করার আগ সময় পর্যন্ত সেই একটি জায়গাতেই দাঁড়ানো ছিলেন। না তিনি বসেছেন একবারও, না তিনি তাঁর রাব্বের দু’আ থেকে নিজেকে হাত নামিয়েছেন। পূর্ণ বিনয় ও একাগ্রতার সাথে তিনি চোখের পানিতে আল্লাহকে ডাকছিলেন। আমি আমার সারা জীবনে এমন বিনয় ও আবেগের সাথে কাউকে কিছু চাইতে দেখি নি আল্লাহর কাছে।

আরাফাহ ছেড়ে মুজদালিফাহর দিকে রওনা হওয়ার শেষ সময়ে সেই বোনের কিছু কথা আমাকে কাঁপিয়ে দিলো। তিনি তাঁর চোখের পানিতে আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) কে বলছিলেন – ‘ইয়া আল্লাহ, আপনি যদি আমার তাওবাহ সত্যিই কবুল করে থাকেন, তাহলে আজকের দিন-ই যেন আমার জীবনের শেষ দিন হয়।’ আমি বিস্ময়ামুখ তাঁকে দেখছিলাম; এটা কী ধরণের দু’আ? এই ‘অন্যরকম’ তরুণী কী চাচ্ছেন আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) এঁর কাছে?

আমরা আরাফাহর তাঁবু ছেড়ে মুজদালিফা অভিমুখ বাসে উঠলাম। আমি অনেকটা ইচ্ছে করেই সেই বোনের পাশে বসলাম। বোনটি কিছুটা বিশ্রামের আশায় তাঁর ক্লান্ত মাথা সামনের সিটের পেছন দিকে ঝুঁকিয়ে দিলো। সারাদিনের ক্লান্তি তাঁকে জেঁকে বসারই কথা। থাক, একটু বিশ্রাম নিক তিনি। গাড়ি যখন সূর্যাস্তের সময় আরাফাহর ময়দান ছাড়তে শুরু করেছে, আমার ইচ্ছে হলো - বোনটিকে আল্লাহর রহমতের চাদরে আচ্ছাদিত হবার সুসংবাদ দেই। আমি বোনকে বলতে চাছিলাম - আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) আমাদেরকে নিয়ে তাঁর ফেরেশতাদের সাথে গর্ব করেছেন এবং তাঁদের সাক্ষী রেখে আমাদের ক্ষমা করেছেন ইন-শা-আল্লাহ; যেমনটা হাদীসে এসেছে।

আমি বোনটিকে ডাকলাম। ও অমুক, ও আমার বোন – শুনুন! কিন্তু ১৭ বছর বয়সী সেই বোন কোনো উত্তর দিল না আমার ডাকের। আমি আবার ডাকলাম, তারপর আবার। নিরুত্তর বোন আমার।

তৃতীয়বার ডাকার সময় আমি তাঁর মাথা ধরে ডাকলাম। আল্লাহু আকবার, আমি টের পেলাম – আমাদের সেই বোন আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) এঁর সান্নিধ্যে চলে গেছেন ইতিমধ্যেই। যেই দু’আ তিনি আরাফাহর ময়দানে দু’আ কবুলের সময় বিনয় ও একাগ্রতার সাথে করেছেন, মহান আল্লাহ তাঁর সেই দু’আ কবুল করেছেন। বোনটি তাঁর রাব্বের সাথে মিলিত হলো সম্পূর্ন পরিষ্কার ‘আমলনামা নিয়ে; ইন-শা-আল্লাহ।

ইন্নালিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন।

আল্লাহ (সুব’হানাহু ওয়া তা’আলা) আমাদের গুনাহগুলোকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং সর্বোত্তম (ঈমান ও ‘আমল নিয়ে) অবস্থায় এই পৃথিবী ছেড়ে যাবার তাওফীক্ব দিন। আ-মীন।

মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিলো - এই মর্মস্পর্শী ঘটনাটি সবার সাথে শেয়ার করা। কী অসাধারণ মৃত্যু; সুব’হানাল্লাহ।

আমাদের মৃত্যুও যেন এমন গুনাহহীন অবস্থায় হয়। পরিষ্কার, গুনাহহীন ‘আমলনামা নিয়ে যেন রাব্বে কারীমের সাথে আমরা মিলিত হতে পারি ইন-শা-আল্লাহ। আ-মীন।

Sheikh Yunus Kathrada Hafizahullah's description of a sister's wonderful event!

 One sister told me about an incident she saw during her Hajj -

 .

 “On the 7th of July, we reached the Minar camp.  An 18-year-old sister was with us.  Although he is only 18 years old, but by Allah, I have seen him do something extraordinary.  I used to see him humbly, surrendering and weeping before Allah (swt).  He was busy all day in the remembrance of Allah, recitation of the Qur'an, and remembrance of Allah with humility.  The young woman did not waste time in any worldly discussions, but was always engrossed in the worship of Allah.

 .

 The next day was the 9th Zulhijja;  Day of Arafat.  We reached our camp at Arafat.  Upon arriving in Arafat, we were all looking for a comfortable place for ourselves inside the camp - except for that 16-year-old sister.  While we were looking for a place for physical comfort, the sister was looking for a place for peace of mind.  The sister was looking for a place where she could spend time with her Rabb without any hassle.  He was looking for a place where he could spend time alone with his glorious rabbi.

 .

 I swear by Allah Almighty, that sister was standing in that place from the time of Zuhr prayer till the time she left the field of Arafat.  Nor has he ever sat down, nor has he withdrawn himself from the supplications of his Rabb.  With full humility and concentration he was calling on Allah with tears.  I have never in my life seen anyone ask God for anything with such humility and passion.

 .

 Some of the sister's words shook me at the last moment as I left Arafah for Muzdalifah.  He was saying to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) in his tears - ‘O Allah, if you have truly accepted my repentance, then today should be the last day of my life.’ I looked at him in amazement;  What kind of prayer is this?  What does Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) want from this 'different' young woman?

 .

 We left Arafat's tent and got on the bus to Muzdalifah.  I sat next to that sister with a lot of desire.  The sister tilted her tired head to the back of the front seat, hoping for some rest.  The fatigue of the whole day must have sat on him.  Stay, he's a little rest nick.  As the car began to leave the plain of Arafat at sunset, my wish was - to give my sister the good news of being covered in the veil of God's mercy.  I wanted to tell my sister - Allah (swt) has made us proud with His angels and has forgiven us by bearing witness to them In-Sha-Allah;  As stated in the hadith.

 .

 I called the sister.  Oh so-and-so, she's my sister - listen!  But the 16-year-old sister did not answer my call.  I called again, then again.  My unanswered sister.

 .

 The third time I called, I grabbed his head and called.  Allahu Akbar, I realized that our sister Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) has already passed away.  The supplication that he made with humility and concentration while accepting the supplication on the plain of Arafat, Allah Almighty has accepted his supplication.  The sister met her rabbi with a completely clear ‘amalnama;  In-sha-Allah.

 Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

 May Allah (swt) forgive our sins and grant us the tawfiq to leave this world in the best state (with faith and deeds).  A-fish.

 The main purpose was to share this touching story with everyone.  What an extraordinary death;  Subhanallah.

 May our death be in such a sinless state.  In-sha-Allah so that we can meet Rabb Kareem with a clear, sinless ‘Amalnama.  A-fish.
